Quex dental care is a well established dental practice that has been managed by its principal since 1999.At The Quex dental care we have tried to reach a happy balance between technology, surroundings and care for the environment.The practice is fully computerized, with no conventional x-rays. Dr L Spitz BChD Leeds 2004Dr Spitz is our Associate Dental Surgeon.Dr Spitz graduated from Leeds University in 2004 where she was awarded the Alexander McGregor research prize and achieved runner up in the national British Dental Association Research awards.Dr Spitz has a special interest in cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry and is a regular attendee of postgraduate seminars continually updating her knowledge of the latest techniques and newest materials available.Dr Spitz's other interests include preventative dentistry and she is especially interested in increasing awareness in both adults and children of the causes of dental disease and how to prevent future problems.
Anna Tatari DipDS (Ath), MSc Prosthetic Dent (Lond), MSc Impalnt Dentistry (Lond)Anna qualified from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece in 2001. During her studies she was awarded with a scholarship from the National Institute of Scholarships, sponsored by the Antonios Papadakis Institution. During 2004-2005 she attended a full time postgraduate course MSc in Prosthetic Dentistry (Kings College, London, with merit).Following the completion of her first postgraduate course she worked as a general dental practitioner with a special interest in removable prosthodontics. After gaining significant experience in removable destistry, she attended a full time post graduate course MSc in Implant Dentistry and fixed prosthodontics (Eastman Dental Institute, London 2008). Her special interests are Implant Dentistry and Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics.In her free time she loves travelling, going to the gym and recently she has been developing her dancing skills. She is interested in charity and she has already made a charity trip to Peru.

Single Implants
1.Sometimes the most sensitive way to fill a gap is to utilise fillings that already exist in adjacent teeth.These fillings are removed and matching 'wings' attached to the bridge which fit into the spaces.
2.Over time the gum can recede away from the crown this is known as the crown margin.The old crown can be removed and a new, deeper crown fitted to cover this area.
3.Sometimes teeth are lost.The adjacent teeth are prepared.A Bridge is made which exactly matchs the space and is fitted across the gap.
4.The broken or decayed tooth is prepared.An Inlay is made and fitted to the tooth.
White or Gold inlays are available.

Clear positioners offer a less visible alternative for correcting crooked teeth.
Firstly, a rough impression is taken then a second impression is taken with a fine material.
This gives a very accurate final impression.A 'study model' is made from the impression.
A number of other models are made which represent the teeth moving into position.
From these a set of positioners are poduced each one designed to move the teeth by a tiny amount.The aligners are used in sequence and the teeth are gently moved into position.
